- 1Open the channel info — you should be listed as Creator, not Admin.
- 2Check you can change the channel name and description.
- 3Remove the previous owner from the administrator list.
- 4Only confirm once you are the Creator.
Telegram needs two-factor authentication active on the seller's account for at least seven days before it will allow a transfer. If it refuses, that is why.
